Mittens At monument Valley, Daytime View captures the sweeping wind in the cirrus clouds once white on blue but now blushing slightly in the daytime heat. The monuments of nature’s forces stand atop the pedestals of their own making surveying the powerful orange radiance of the desert floor. The foreground hosts a small gathering of green growing neighbors. The contrast of the few cooler green colors below and the cerulean blue above balance and enhance the towering central subjects. Do they silently praise that sky, source of their erosion over so much time?
